Furthermore, Vivian’s abusive father forced her to watch the killing of her uncle, two disabled brothers (Buddy and Liam) and other heinous crimes. She have struggled with the traumatic experiences that haunted her throughout her childhood. As a result, a change in her psychological state of mind led to self destructive behaviors and a criminal lifestyle.

Vivian endured abuse in her early childhood and she was still kind and gentle. She earned the moniker “Angel” given by her family who often told her she was an angelic child. However, she was not an angel.

Louis started a life of crime at age 11, he had been in and out of juvenile detention throughout his teenage years. He was convicted as an adult and sentenced to life for murder at the age of 16, for the killing of a store clerk. While working in the prison yard, he escaped Pyreford High-Security Prison. Louis changed his identity and continued his criminal lifestyle. He eluded police after he killed a state trooper with a sniper shot.

Through hard work and determination Vivian overcame adversity and became a high-profile practicing defense attorney. She is also a sophisticated serial entrepreneur that own three brothels. Vivian who is refined and classy on the surface has the darkness inside of her, she has a secret dying to get out.

Vivian “Angel” and Louis have one thing in common: a life of crime. Together, the duo were able to commit an array of different types of crimes— they left behind no clues. Vivian may look like everybody, but she’s not like anybody. How do you catch a killer that leave no clues?

This novel have many plot twists and it is filled with suspense.
